Meet the Team

Dr. Jason Miller, “Dr. Jay”, was born and raised in Logan County.  In 1994, he graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science.

Dr. Sara Fluty grew up on a farm outside Mattoon, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science in 2009, as well as her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2013.

Dr. Lara Borgerson joined the Timbercrest Veterinary Service team in January of 2015 as a small animal practitioner.

Dr. Annie Ryan grew up in rural western Illinois, helping on her grandparents’ farm. She attended the University of Illinois, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 2015, as well as her Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019.

Dr. Zack Talbert grew up in rural Armington, IL. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 2016. He then received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2021.

Kaci joined Timbercrest in January of 2011 after moving to McLean county from her home town of Tuscola. Kaci graduated from Parkland College in 2007 and Illinois State University in 2009.

Koree was born in Bradenton, Florida and moved to Illinois with her family in 1998. She attended and graduated from Taylorville High School in 2009.

Sarah joined our team in 2015 as a Veterinary Assistant. Sarah grew up on a small horse farm in DeWitt County where she showed horses and goats throughout her lifetime.

Krista joined our team in 2018 as a Veterinary Assistant. Krista was born and raised in DeWitt county. She graduated from Clinton High School in 2014.

Autumn was born and raised on a small horse farm in rural Dewitt County, where she grew up riding horses. Autumn graduated from Clinton Community High School in 2015. She then went on to receive her Cosmetologist License in 2016.

Brie was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma and moved to Illinois shortly after. She attended Olympia High School and graduated in 2015.

Meet our technician, Vicki.  She was born and raised in Lincoln, IL.  Vicki has been a veterinary technician since 2008 and joined Timbercrest in July 2018.

Kaley started working in the veterinary field in 2011 as a part time kennel attendant, and over the years in the field she has also worked for 1 year as a receptionist and as a veterinary assistant for the last 7 years.

Sonia joined the Timbercrest team in September 2014 as a receptionist.  One of her favorite aspects of her job is the interaction she has with each client and patient on a day to day basis.

Nick joined the Timbercrest team in 2016 as a Veterinary Assistant.

Lusero joined Timbercrest in 2020 as a kennel attendant and now also works as a receptionist in the Atlanta office.
